Georgia reports 342 coronavirus cases, 2 981 recoveries, 44 deaths

Georgia reported 342 coronavirus cases, 2 981 recoveries and 33 deaths on Saturday, according to stopcov.ge.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 183 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 42 cases, and the Adjara region with 20 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 228 752, among them 217 973 people recovered and 2 572 died, the official figures show.

There are 386 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 30 876 are in self-isolation.
