Georgia has reported 338 coronavirus cases, 1,357 recoveries, and 17 deaths on Monday, the official figures show.
9,598 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 5,095 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 4,503 were PCR tests.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 208 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Adjara region with 50 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 33 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 337,961, among them, 319,956 people recovered and 4,639 died.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4,04%, while 3,99% in the past 14 days.
There are 91 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 4,161 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 667 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
Currently, out of 892 critical patients, 230 require mechanical ventilation.
As of today, 113,000 people got the coronavirus vaccine.
