Georgia reports 3,201 coronavirus cases, 4,098 recoveries, 64 deaths

Georgia reported 3,201 coronavirus cases, 4,098 recoveries, and 64 deaths on November 24, the official figures show.

26,588 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 14,401 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 12,187 were PCR tests.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1,383 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 536 cases and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 263 cases.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 12,04%, while 9,19% in the past seven days.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 822,383, among them, 763,755 people recovered and 11,679 died.

There are 58 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6,611 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,084 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.

Currently, out of 1,691 critical patients, 377 require mechanical ventilation.

As of today, 2,112,851 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 3,707 in a day.
