Georgia reports 2,514 coronavirus cases, 2,711 recoveries, 61 deaths

Georgia reported 2,514 coronavirus cases, 2,711 recoveries, and 61 deaths on December 29, the official figures show.

46,059 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 26,700, tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 19,359 were PCR tests.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 5,46%, while 5.09% in the past week.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 930,544, among them, 890,733 people recovered and 13,707 died.

There are 42 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 4,794 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 858 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.

As of today, 2,495,435 people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 11,720 in a day.
