Georgia reports 218 new COVID-19 cases, 2 deaths

Georgia has reported 218 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 3 913, according to stopcov.ge, a special webpage created by the Georgian government.

The 40 patients have recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, increasing the total number of recoveries to 1 574.

Two patients died of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours bringing the death toll to 22 people.

A total of 41 people are brought from abroad for medical treatment.

Currently, 4 988 people are under quarantine and 836 more under medical observation.
