Georgia reported 2 316 coronavirus cases, 18 deaths, and 382 recoveries on Tuesday, the official figures show.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 961 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 420 cases, and Samegrelo-Zemi Svaneti region with 201 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 232 079, among them 222 787 people recovered and 2 646 died.

There are 377 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 4 012 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 763 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
