Georgia reports 1,820 coronavirus cases, 6,017 recoveries, 82 deaths

Georgia reported 1,820 coronavirus cases, 6,017 recoveries, and 82 deaths on November 15, the official figures show.

20,166 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 12,569 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7,597 were PCR tests.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 820 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 375 cases and the Kvemo Kartli region with 128 cases.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 9,03%, while 9,52% in the past seven days.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 785,911, among them, 722,399 people recovered and 11,057 died.

There are 51 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6,847 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,191 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.

Currently, out of 1,678 critical patients, 376 require mechanical ventilation.

As of today, 2,048,393  people got the coronavirus vaccine, with 1,874 in a day.
