Georgia reports 1 784 coronavirus cases, 4 119 recoveries, 39 deaths

Georgia reported 1 784 coronavirus cases, 4 119 recoveries and 39 deaths on Saturday, said Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Head of the Task Force under the Interagency Coordination Council at the press briefing at the Governmental Administration.

Georgian capital Tbilisi reported the highest number of 801 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 281 cases, and the Adjara region with 121 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 220 508, among them 200 339 people recovered and 2 352 died.

There are 396 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 5 701 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 464 patients are being treated at Covid Hotels, the official figures show.
