Georgia reported 1 147 coronavirus cases, 690 recoveries, and 20 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 653 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Adjara region with 144 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 102 cases.
A total of 20 129 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 6 667 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 13 462 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 5,7%, while 4,87% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 311 457, among them, 291 457 people recovered and 4 130 died.
There are 96 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 3 919 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 750 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
