Georgia reported 165 coronavirus cases, 639 recoveries, and 11 deaths on Monday, the official figures show.

9,197 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them 6, 208 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2,989 were PCR tests.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 57 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 31 cases and the Kakheti region with 17 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 265, 722, among them 265, 722 people recovered and 3,363 died.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1.79%, while 2.5% over the past seven days.

There are 238 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1,932 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 232 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.

Currently, out of 425 critical patients, 101 require mechanical ventilation.
