Georgia has improved its rating in the Global Prosperity Index 2020 and thus reached a historic high, the Government Administration reported. According to them, Georgia received 61.8 per cent of the 100 per cent rating scale.
Earlier this week, we published our 2020 @ProsperityIndex which reveals that prior to the #pandemic, global #prosperity stood at a record high, with 147 out of 167 countries seeing prosperity rise over the past decade.

In the Global Prosperity Index 2020, Georgia is ahead of all neighbouring countries.
“Georgia has gained the most important historical recognition – a special chapter was dedicated to Georgia in the report. Our country was named as the most convincing recent example of progress among the achievements of open reconstruction, sustainable and competitive economies,” the government administration said in a statement.
Legatum Institute evaluates global prosperity index according to 12 pillars, built upon 66 actionable policy areas and underpinned by 294 indicators.
