Georgia eases entry restrictions for Turkish travelers

Georgian government decided to ease Covid-19 entry restrictions for Turkish travelers, Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava announced on Wednesday.

Turkish citizens should present a negative PCR test at the border and retest on the third day. Self-isolation will not be required if the test comes negative.

“This is positive information for both business and tourism, as Turkish nationals often travel to Georgia for touristic and business reasons,” Turnava said.

Earlier this week, Georgia resumed international flights and eased entry regulations both for Georgian nationals and foreigners.
