“Concern is natural and grounded. However, I am sure the investigation will shed light on everything,” said Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, when commenting over the leaked alleged security files.
“There were two conversations, where both sides were represented by the diplomatic sector, among the leaked files. One was an assistant, the other a USAID representative, and so on. There were two such presumable conversations, and, of course, these two facts, in particular, must be investigated. Therefore, the concern is natural and grounded. However, I am sure the investigation will shed light on everything,” Kobakhidze claimed.
The files, allegedly leaked from the State Security Service of Georgia (SSG), incriminate the clergy, journalists and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
