Four years passed after deadly flooding in Tbilisi

Four years passed after June 13, 2015, deadly flooding in Tbilisi.

Twenty-one people died, 2 still missing and more than 1000 people, who suffered losses  – this is the result of the natural disaster that hit Georgia’s capital 4 years ago.

Disaster destroyed houses, roads, bridges, tunnels and communication systems. Mziuri territory and Tbilisi Zoo were flooded. Majority of animals of the zoo was killed in the flooding.

Infrastructure was damaged including Vake-Saburtalo new highway, the section of Tskneti road.
