Foreign Minister echoes US Department of State's report

“The report of the US Department of State is an acknowledgement that the steps taken by the Georgian government to improve economic reforms are positively evaluated,” said Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani.

“This is also a positive message for international investors,” noted the Minister.

Foreign Minister also echoed the ranking of Economic Freedom of the World 2020 published by the Fraser Institute. In 2020 annual report, Georgia is among highest-scoring nations and with its 8.18 points occupied 8th position.

“This is another recognition of the steps taken by the Georgian government in terms of economic policy and economic recovery,” stated Zalkaliani.
