The parliamentary Foreign Affairs committees of Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan held the 6th annual sitting within the Georgian parliamentary delegation’s visit to Turkey.
Chairman of the Georgian Foreign Affairs Committee Nikoloz Samkharadze discussed processes ongoing in the region, security challenges and the role of all three countries in problem resolution.
Samkharadze stressed the significance of NATO integration as the guarantee for stability amid Russia’s aggressive and destructive moves across the occupied territories.
The parties discussed cooperation enhancement in trade, energy, infrastructure, culture, defence, environmental protection and security.
Turkish and Azerbaijani delegations reiterated support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
