FM to host non-resident Ambassadors

Georgian Foreign Minister and Vice Prime Minister David Zalkaliani hosted non-resident Ambassadors at the Ceremonies Palace.

FM congratulated foreign diplomats on new posts appointment and wished them success. Zalkaliani said Covid pandemic well demonstrated the essentiality of coordination amid closure of borders and pandemic-related regulations worldwide.

He stressed that occupied territories remained the main challenge for Georgia, while the choice of the Georgian people was the integration into the European Union and NATO.

Twenty-four non-resident ambassadors arrived in Georgia. The ambassadors had meetings with deputy foreign ministers on September 1-3. They presented letters of credence to Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili.
