Georgian well-known film director Rezo Esadze died at the age of 86.

Rezo Esadze was born on February 18, 1934. He is an actor and director. His filmography includes 11 films including Naylon New Year Tree (1985), Four Pages (1967), Sekundomer (1971), etc.

Rezo Esadze’s personal exhibitions were hosted by Tbilisi, Munich, Geneva and Tel-Aviv. In 2001, Esadze published his first book of poems.

In connection with the jubilee, Rezo Esadze’s last film “Month, as One Day” was shown by Georgian First Channel on February 18. Esadze shot the film in 2016 at the age of 82.
