Parliament’s Fact-finding Commission on Khorava Street murder case has published the first part of the conclusion, in which the factual circumstances revealed by the Commission are described.

“The report of the Commission focuses on key circumstance concerning the role of M.K. in Davit Saralidze’s murder case. Commission has obtained a number of testimonials, which confirm that M.K. had a certain object and used it during the physical clash. According to the evidence, M.K:

A) showed this object to his friends in front of the school # 51;

B) used against David Saralidze during a clash;

C) showed it to his friends after the clash.

It is noteworthy that the video recording has been found in case materials, which reflects how M.K. shows this object to his friends. This video was available at the initial stage of the investigation, but the investigation and the Prosecutor’s Office did not fix such important and key detail earlier than setting up the Commission. Upon receiving the relevant evidence, the Commission has informed MIA and called for a timely response.

This evidences further reinforce the mid-term recommendation issued by the Commission about starting criminal proceedings against M.K. for the murder of a minor committed by more than one person, the charge under the Article 109 paragraphs 2 (b) and (e) of the Criminal Code of Georgia”, – reads the report of the Commission.
