Executive Secretary of Georgian Dream – Election results are recognized by everyone except several defeated oppositional parties

Irakli Kobakhidze, Executive Secretary of Georgian Dream Party said that during the meeting with representatives of OSCE/ODIHR observer mission, the ruling team provided the foreign friends with the information about how Georgian Dream was preparing for the second round of 2020 parliamentary elections.

According to Kobakhidze, issues related to elections were discussed during the meeting. He claimed that elections were held in contested environment by protection of fundamental human rights.

“Everybody recognizes election results including our main partners. We receive congratulations every day from different countries. Those who do not recognize election results, represent several defeated oppositional parties. But we are sure they will also recognize outcomes of democratic elections at the end,” Kobakhidze said.
