Executive Secretary of Georgian Dream – Attempts of destruction were detected at different polling stations

Oppositional representatives organized more provocations in 2016 and there were exaggerated reactions on part of our activists, unfortunately – Irakli Kobakhidze, Executive Secretary of Georgian Dream Party thus commented about the statements of non-governmental organizations regarding 2020 parliamentary elections in Georgia.

According to Kobakhidze, October 31 election was a step backward with respect to destructive activities.

“Attempts of destruction were detected at different polling stations and they represented absolutely irresponsible acts on part of political entities. As for the rest of procedures and election campaign in general, we all saw that everybody could deliver their messages to the public in free regime during several months. These were very competitive elections with free and fair environment. This environment has already been evaluated by international observers,” Kobakhidze said.

Kobakhidze said that technical faults were fixed during all elections and there was no much difference between October 31 and previous polls.
