The European Parliament’s election begins today. The vote will last four days in the 28 member states of the European Union.

The preliminary surveys show that the number of euro-skeptics MPs will increase in the EU legislative body; however, polls show that ultra-right parties cannot become dominant forces.

The results of the election will be known on the evening of May 26.
