Erik Hoeg: No crossing of administrative boundary line observed in Odzisi, negatively affecting locals

Erik Hoeg, the Head of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia has released a statement in relation to the situation in Odzisi village of the occupied Tskhinvali. Erik Hoeg explains that during the last two days, no case of crossing of the Administrative Boundary Line has been observed which negatively affect the locals.

“Odzisi, the main crossing point at the South Ossetian Administrative Boundary Line. On a normal day EUMM observes around 400 crossings, now zero. Closed since 5 SEP without clear justification. Measure negatively affecting local communities on both sides of Administrative Boundary Line”, – Erik Hoeg wrote on his Twitter page.
