Emperor’s Cup was handed over to Levan Gorgadze

Emperor’s Cup was handed over to Georgian sportsman Levan Gorgadze-Tochinoshin amid audience ovation.

Gorgadze became the winner of the Emperor’s Cup, thus gaining the title of the best Sumoist.

Tochinoshin became the first Georgian and third European wrestler to win the competition, recognized as the most prestigious in sumo and usually dominated by local athletes.
