Emergency Situations Management Service reacted on 80 calls

Employees of Emergency Situations Management Service and Patrol Police brigades reacted on more than 80 calls received due to obstacles across roads caused by heavy rain and hail in Tbilisi.

The traffic movement is suspended at Giorgi Mindeli Bridge and Sheshelidze Street. The calls were received about flooding in underground passages, cellars and entrances of subway stations.

Water pumping works are ongoing. No damages or casualties are reported as a result of abundant precipitation.

Hail caused problems in several districts of Tbilisi – Gldani, Dighomi, Vazisubani, Varketili and Sanzona.
