EMC monitoring - 71 people received injuries at work, 25 - died

The Human Rights and Monitoring Center – EMC presented the results of the monitoring regarding labour safety. Based on the monitoring, the number of fatal incidents at work is increased in 2019 in comparison to 2018.

In January-June of 2019, the 71 employees received injuries at work, 25 people died. The number of injuries in 2018 was 199; the 59 cases resulted in a fatality.

EMC informs that city and regional courts discussed 35 cases and ruled out imposition of prison term in 2 cases.
