Edgars Rinkevics: Russian aggression is the issue of discussion at the last six conferences in Munich

The Russian aggression is the issue of discussions at the last six conferences in Munich after the illegal annexation of Crimea, – Edgars Rinkevics, the Latvian Minister for Foreign Affairs said in Munich.

According to him, the Munich Security Conference is a good venue for discussing issues such as the illegal annexation of Crimea and the illegal occupation of Abkhazia, and so-called South Ossetia.

“We are trying to find the right response to what happened, whether it be a certain pressure, sanctions and, on the other hand, involvement in the dialogue. So this is a very good place to discuss issues such as the illegal annexation of Crimea, the illegal occupation of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Russia’s aggression against Georgia in 2008 and aggression against Ukraine in 2014. This is a place where we can make these cases visible, loud and clear”, – said Edgars Rinkevics.
