Donald Trump invites Volodymyr Zelensky to visit the White House

U.S. President Donald Trump has invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to pay an official visit to Washington, D.C, – Trump told reporters outside the White House.

“I would love to have him come to the White House if he’d like to come, and I think he’d like to come,” – Trump said.

In a July 2019 phone call, President Trump asked Zelenskiy to investigate his possible 2020 election challenger Joe Biden, and son Hunter Biden who had business interests in Ukraine.

The United States Congress is currently discussing this case as to whether of not the president has exceeded his authority.
