We would better discomfit for the New Year holidays to get on with our lives during the whole year, said Tengiz Tsertsvadze, Director General of Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Center.
Tengiz Tsertsvadze took part in the Actual Topic Program with Maka Tsintsadze live on the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB).
According to Tengiz Tsertsvadze, the government has not decided yet whether to lift, ease, or strict the Covid-related restrictions for the New Year holidays. However, the public has to ‘show self-awareness, responsibility, and solidarity’.
Tsertsvadze said that people have to set rules for themselves to prevent another outbreak of the pandemic temporarily slowed down due to the regulations introduced by the Georgian government.
“If the government opens malls and shops, do not rush there, do not arrange crowded gatherings. Somehow, we have to discomfit for one New Year holidays to get on with our lives during the whole year,” Tengiz Tsertsvadze said.
