Deputy Health Minister – Novel coronavirus is spreading in all European countries

The novel coronavirus is spreading in all European countries. Therefore, the World Health Organization does not give the recommendation about refraining from travelling to a particular country – Tamar Gabunia, Deputy Health Minister told journalists.

According to Gabunia, thermal screening and recommendation on self-isolation refer to the citizens who arrive from countries of high risk.

“Restrictions from China and Iran were imposed due to the circumstance that these countries represented the red-risk zones. The risk, at present, spreads all over Europe. The risk still comes from China, South Korea, Iran, Italy and Japan,” Gabunia said. She added that cases of infection were increasing in France and Germany.
