Deputy Head of Diseases Control Center – Entering district shop may be more risky than voting in elections

Paata Imnadze, Deputy Head of National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health said that all measures are taken to ensure safe voting in 2020 parliamentary elections. According to Imnadze, there is almost no chance that the infection is transmitted to another person at the elections.

“If you trust me, entering the district shop may be more risky than voting in elections because there is almost no chance that the infection is transmitted to another person at the elections. There will be short time, everybody will wear face masks; there will be one-time pens for use and disinfection liquids. Everything is taken into consideration,” Imnadze claimed.
