Deputy Foreign Minister: Information published in British tabloid is an attempt to discredit the cooperation we have with partners
“The information published in British tabloid is an attempt to discredit the cooperation we have with our partners,” Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Lasha Darsalia said today.
As Darsalia noted, Georgia has good cooperation with Great Britain in the field of cybersecurity.
“Likely, Russia is interested in Georgia’s relations with its Western partners. Who stands behind those particular facts will be revealed by further cooperation,” Darsalia stressed.
Daily Mail reported earlier this week that “Kremlin-linked cyber hackers stole highly confidential details of hundreds of Britons taking part in medical trials for COVID-19. British tabloid added that “the hackers are based in Georgia and linked to the Kremlin and the Russian security services.”
