Democracy does not need pathological figures, MP Kobakhidze hints at UNM leaders

The ruling Georgian Dream (GD) Chair Irakli Kobakhidze rules out any advantage for former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, saying “he must serve his sentence.”

MP Kobakhidze believes the United National Movement “suffered a heavy defeat.”

“Mikheil Saakashvili is UNM leader, while Nikanor Melia – a formal leader, an aide to Saakashvili. Take a look at UNM leaders – Saakashvili, Melia, Gvaramia, Bokeria, they have one thing in common, they are pathological individuals. Supporting them means supporting pathological people. Georgian democracy does not need such players,” Kobakhidze said.
