Dede, film by Georgian film director Mariam Khachvani was shown at UNESCO in Paris, France. The film is about love-story of a girl from Georgia’s Svaneti region.

Dede won the Grand-Prix of jury at the 30th meeting of the Cannes International Film Festival. The 30th Meeting of Cinematographers is a selective competition for the Cannes festival. The festival program includes 8 international films that have been selected based on prizes received in France and various international competitions. The festival was held on November 20-26, 2017.
