Construction of Vani Museum in final stage

Construction of Vani Archeological Museum is in the final stage. The works are carried out by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure with the financing of the World Bank.

The total value of the project is 19 million GEL. The works envisage construction of a 4-floor building, parking site, small library, laboratory, café and rooms for the administration.

The Vani Archeological Museum has not been rehabilitated since 1985. The museum will meet international standards after completion of the project.

Giorgi Shengelia, Director of Municipal Development Fund and Zviad Shalamberidze, Imereti Governor inspected the ongoing works.
