Citizens travelled in China recently should apply to infectious disease hospitals as soon as virus symptoms revealed

A meeting on the risk of coronavirus outbreak has been held today at the Ministry of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.

Amiran Gamkrelidze, Head of the National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health, stated that two versions of the plan were discussed at the meeting, attended by experts and specialists.

According to Gamkrelidze, the risk of the coronavirus outbreak in Georgia is minimal, however, theoretically, it still exists.

Amiran Gamkrelidze recommends people who have travelled in China recently, to apply to infectious disease hospitals as soon as the first symptoms of the virus are revealed.
