Chess Olympiad starts in Batumi [Photo Story]

The 43rd Chess Olympiad has started in Batumi City, Adjara region.

President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili made the first move on the first Chessboard, and Mikheil Batiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport on the second board.

The international chess tournament will last till October 6.

The 43rd World Olympiad opened with a grand show at the Black Sea Arena in Shekvetili yesterday.
