Fire at Shemokmedi Diocese Nunnery

Fire at St. Nino nunnery of Shemokmedi Diocese in western Guria region of Georgia burned eight cells.
The fire broke out at the nunnery early in the morning. Nobody was injured in the fire, which was presumably caused by an old electric wire failure.
According to the Emergency Situations Management Service, three fire-fighting brigades worked at the disaster scene. The fire is extinguished.
