The Central Election Commission (CEC) is launching all the procedures necessary for the October 31 parliamentary elections, – CEC spokesperson Ana Mikeladze said at the briefing.

As Mikeladze noted, the Central Election Commission will create all the conditions for citizens to use their civil rights freely and safely on the Election Day.

According to Mikeladze, the schedule of election activities was approved at the CEC session today.

“This important guide document will be available to everyone on the official website of the Central Election Commission. It should also be emphasized that the Central Election Commission, in consultation with the parties involved in the election, has established the necessary sanitary-hygienic requirements,” CEC Spokesperson said.

The election administration, including the Central Election Commission and 73 district election commissions, will organize parliamentary elections in 3,657 polling stations. According to the resolution adopted at today’s sitting, 2 polling stations will be opened for Georgian citizens serving in the peacekeeping battalions of the Georgian Armed Forces in Afghanistan.
