Carl Hartzell to replace Janos Herman on post of EU Ambassador to Georgia

Carl Hartzell, Senior Advisor of Donald Tusk, President of European Council, will replace Janos Herman on post of Ambassador of European Union to Georgia.

Press Service of EU Representation in Georgia told First Channel that Hartzell held the post of Senior Advisor of Tusk in Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine Affairs.

Hartzell will arrive in Georgia in September when duty terms of Herman’s diplomatic service expire.
