Building of new ropeways planned in Tbilisi

Building of three new ropeways is planned in Tbilisi. According to Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor, the three locations are already selected: Samgori-Vazisubani, Akhmeteli-Temka, and Sameba-Makhata Mount.

Carrying out of technical-economic researches will take 5 months and about 750 thousand GEL will be spent on the projects.

“Many people are moving about these locations and I am sure these routes will a good transportation means likewise subway, buses and mini-buses,” Kaladze said during the city governmental sitting.
