Bishop Grigori appointed as Metropolitan of Chkondidi Eparchy

Bishop of Tsalka Grigori has been appointed as Metropolitan of Chkondidi Eparchy, – the metropolitan of Akhalkalaki and Kumurdo Archbishop Nikoloz made this statement after the Synod sitting.

As he noted, the decision was made by the Holy Synod of Georgian Orthodox Church.

The Holy Synod has deprived Archbishop Petre Tsaava of the high priest ranking today.
