Bicycle racing in connection with World Car Free Day in Tbilisi

Road bicycle racing in connection with World Car Free Day is being held in Tbilisi.

The racing has taken start from University Street, adjacent to the TSU High Building and will end in the square in front of the Tbilisi City Hall building on Shartava Street, through Kavtaradze, Kazbegi and Pekini streets.

The event is attended by: Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Archil Talakvadze, Minister of Environment and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili, representatives of the diplomatic corps, athletes, representatives of civil society and private sector.

The event is being organized by the Georgia Alliance for Safe Roads, in cooperation with the National Bicycle Federation and partner organizations, with the support of the UN Representation in Georgia.

September 22 is World Car Free Day.
