BBSMAF to open in Batumi on September 1

Batumi Black Sea Music and Art Festival (BBSMAF) 2019 will be opened on September 1. The festival, which will continue till September 10, is being held in Georgia for the seventh time under the patronage of Georgian President.

The BBSMAF, launched under the Patronage of UNESCO, is an original event where great artists and young talents of classical music come together to place music at the heart of culture.

It was established by Eliso Bolkvadze, the prominent Georgian pianist, UNESCO Artist of Peace and founder of the Charitable Foundation “Lyra,” in 2013, and has been offering beautiful shows to classical music enthusiasts since then.

Pianist Eliso Bolkvadze held a press conference at Batumi Art Center this afternoon. She said that musicians who would arrive in Georgia for the festival included Claudio Piastra-guitarist, Lydie Solomon- pianist, Alexandra Masaleva-pianist, David Aladashvili-pianist, and Giancarlo de Lorenzo – conductor.
