Bakuriani hosts Ski Cross World Cup qualifiers

The Georgian ski resort of Bakuriani hosted the ski cross qualification round on Friday.

Thirty-two boys and sixteen girls qualified for the finals scheduled on February 27.

The world premiere of the ski cross mixed team event will be held on February 28.

Participant countries are Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, UK, Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, and the US.

Bakuriani is hosting a ski cross test event for the 2023 FIS World Championships on 26-28 February 2021.

The International Ski Federation (FIS) chose Bakuriani as host for the 2023 Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships back in 2018.
