“The statement of the Azerbaijani side that the Armenian units allegedly tried to hit the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline is a blatant lie,” tweeted Shushan Stepanyan, Press secretary of the Minister of Defence of Armenia.

“We have repeatedly stated, that we are not targeting oil and gas infrastructure. However, regardless of the location all military facilities and objectives from which #Artsakh will be fired at, will be destroyed,” stated Stepanyan.

Earlier, Assistant of Azerbaijani President, Hikmet Hajiyev tweeted that “Armenia fired cluster rocket to Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan pipeline. In vicinity of Yevlakh reg.rocket landed 10 meters away from BTC pipeline.300+ Cluster bomblets eject around. No damage to pipeline. ANAMA is in operation. Desperate attempts of Armenia to attack energy infrastructure.”
