Austria to open smaller shops from April 14

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said smaller shops up to a size of 400 square meters, as well as hardware and garden stores, will open from April 14. As for hotels, restaurants and other services, they will be opened from mid-May.

Kurz urged the citizens of Austria to follow the recommendations introduced bu the government.

Austria has 12,058 confirmed cases, with 204 deaths and 2,998 people who have recovered from the virus.
