Armenian Prime Minister begins two-day official visit to Georgia

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Georgia with a two-day official visit. Davit Zalkaliani, Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs hosted Armenian PM at Tbilisi International Airport. This is the second official visit of Pashinyan to Georgia.

“Such intensive bilateral meetings between the neighboring countries highlight Georgia’s importance to Armenia and the importance of Armenia for Georgia,” Zalkaliani said.

An official reception in hosting of Armenian Prime Minister will be held at the Governmental Administration. The Armenian Prime Minister will be hosted by the head of the Georgian government, Giorgi Gakharia.

Prime Ministers of Georgia and Armenia will hold face-to-face and extended meetings, after which, Giorgi Gakharia and Nikol Pashinyan will make statements for the media.

Within the framework of the official visit, Prime Minister of Armenia will hold meetings with President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili and Speaker of Parliament Archil Talakvadze.

Nikol Pashinyan, together with the delegation members, will pay tribute to the memory of heroes who died in fight for Georgia’s territorial integrity.

The official visit of the Armenian delegation to Georgia will end on March 4.
