Armenian PM - If this tempo is kept, Armenia will reach the level of Italy with respect to infection cases per million population

Armenia has surpassed Iran and France in terms of the number of people infected with novel coronavirus per million people, and is almost close to Russia’s data – said Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

“If this tempo is kept, Armenia will reach the level of Italy in terms of cases of infection per million population,” Armenian PM said.

Pashinyan linked violation of epidemiological norms and low level of responsibility to the increased tempo of coronavirus spread in the country.

He also called on Armenian citizens for wearing medical facemasks, disinfection of hands and observing social distancing guidelines.
