Georgia cannot be a threat to security to Armenia in the same way as Armenia cannot be a threat to Georgia – Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, being with an official visit to Georgia, said during the meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia at the Georgian Governmental Administration.
Pashinyan underlined that there is vast unused potential in Georgia-Armenia relations. “Democratization has a big importance. I believe that if Georgia and Armenia are perceived as democratic territories, the attraction of our countries will further increase. We respect Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration aspiration and it seems that the two countries have different opinions regarding security system. But I think that we have common standpoint,” Pashinyan said.
Within the framework of the official visit, Prime Minister of Armenia will hold meetings with President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili and Speaker of Parliament Archil Talakvadze.
Nikol Pashinyan, together with the delegation members, will pay tribute to the memory of heroes who died in fight for Georgia’s territorial integrity.
The official visit of the Armenian delegation to Georgia will end on March 4.
